You are what you eat. Most everyone has heard this saying, yet we are not always mindful of what we eat. Some of us "eat to live;" while others, "live to eat." Whichever belief you subscribe to, the food you regularly eat has either a beneficial or detrimental effect on your body, mind, and spirit. But let me remind you of one very important point: Food is medicine.
As we head into the 4th of July and the rest of summer, it's a time of family, friends, fun, and food. But all foods are not created equal and Choco and I wanted to remind you that food is medicine. What kind of medicine are you going to take each day?
